Hi there, I’m Lissa.
I’m a relentless believer in the good, in surrendering to the transformational power of our hardest seasons, in holding all you have with open hands, and in taking whatever you’ve been given and doing all you can with it. As a 2x cancer thriver, I have seen firsthand that with a lot of grit, a healthy dose of optimism, and a dash of faith-filled dreaming just about anything is possible.
I have nearly a decade of experience working as a therapist, obtaining official licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2013. I worked for several years in private practice, feeling pulled toward coaching work after finding that the majority of my caseload consisted of women seeking more coaching related services than therapy itself. I completed Beautiful You Coaching Academy life coaching training in November 2019 and am currently in a massive season of creating: writing Digging for Gold, developing the GlowGetter podcast + mastermind community, establishing motivational speaking skills, and embracing the self-learning process as I dive feet first into this exciting new venture.

In my free time, you’ll find me exploring and adventuring (currently on a National Parks kick!); hiking as a family with my husband, Jay, and our two rescue rotties, Ollie + Roo; gnoshing on a #1 from Chick-fil-A (with allll the Polynesian, please!); or nose deep in a book.
